Shinee is a South Korean contemporary R&B boy group under the management of SM Entertainment. Formed in 2008, the group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. They made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Inkigayo with their 

single, "Replay".

             

Since their debut, Shinee has released three full-length albums (in Korean language; with one being a separate double-album release), five mini-albums, one live album and various singles. They have also won many awards, held three concert tours and starred in their own reality shows. Shinee is considered to be a fashion icon having started the "Shinee Trend" and are known for their highly synchronized and complex dancing.

Shinee is known for their fashion style, created by designer Ha Sang Baek, which features high-top sneakers, skinny jeans and colorful sweaters. Their style has created a fashion trend amongst students which the media dubbed the "SHINee Trend". With the release of 2009, Year of Us Shinee's style became more mature, though still contained Shinee's unique image. Furthermore instead of working with famous artists and photographers, SM Entertainment's Visual and Art Directing department usually works with up-and-coming talents with new ideas for Shinee's concepts.
